This time, I love the titles as much as the pictures. The first looks like a statue of George Washington, or Paul Revere. I am Americacentric, aren't I?
I like the way you captured the natural against the manmade. They are both beautiful, but I'm a sucker for the first one. The bottom one reminds me of the play of lights and water at Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island in Canada. Mermaid | Homepage | 06.17.05 - 3:43 pm | #
hmm... looks like you are enjoying your experiments with light.. keep it up! thats the best way to learn the capabilities of your camera and its limits. Dr Vivek M L | Homepage | 06.18.05 - 1:27 am | #
@Deepa: Thanks. Keep visiting @Potpourri: yeah he does. Thanks @Karthik: I beg to differ...please dont include me in that league of stalwarts...I have a long way to go. This was a statue in Vienna.Thanks. @Mermaid: The first picture was shot in Vienna and the second one with the head lamps at Frankfurt. Thanks. @Vivek: I have realised that photography is more than just " point and shoot". I have done a few experiments...will share them soon. Thanks. Sudarshan | Homepage | 06.18.05 - 5:15 am | #

i agree - photography is simply drawing with light as somebody famous once said!
Nice shots; mind sharing the exposure details of the second one?

the first, while technically nice made me feel nothing... which is probably my issue :) but still not evocative for me
the second was very evocative, motion, light.... I felt the rush.
Thanks Jess for the comments.
